Be more confident with more and more knowledge.

Some people we meet and they change our thinking, or sometimes you find a change in your attitude, your habits just because of them. You start thinking as if they are your inspiration.The same thing happend with me. since childhood i was not at all interested in reading any kind of book other than my school / college syllabus. I tried many times, but i used to start a new book with its first page, and till i reach last line i used to get bored, and then again start with fresh mind, with new start, so again first page, and then i never turned to the next page. So i made my mindset that i can not read a book, i done like it. But after marriage, i found that my husband, his parents, his siter, each one has its own library. I felt very great about them, but never tried to change myself knowing my interest. after joining the organization i am currently working with, i met a person who takes regular sessions to keep us updating on the technolgy and domain. i was astonished by his knowledge in the first session itself.. i found this really different because i have experienced that in our field of IT one may be called as an expert in the technology he works, but slowly we find ourselves forgetting the things that we have learnt in school or colleges. and we dont bother to browse and read the things which we are not using in our field. In his sessions, he also sugest us some reference books, and listening to him has changed my mindset. now i go to book stalls, search for good books, get it and read it with interest… because somewhere in mind i do have a strong impact, and also a strong feeling that yes gaining knowlege changes your way of thinking, i have experienced it, wanted to share it with you all. working as a developer I am aware of the life style of an IT guy, but you must keep 1 hour daily for yourself, for reading, even 1 hour per day will add to your extra knowledge other than the usual work, and will make you feel more confident.
